Connect Dostup.io in Chrome

Use the Dostup.io extension to open websites with a Russian IP in Chrome on your computer.

What you need

You need Google Chrome on a computer and a Dostup.io account. If you do not have an account yet, create one and confirm your email. The extension uses your account's existing traffic allowance and device limit.

In your dashboard, click Chrome under Connect a Device in Connection settings to open the quick setup guide.

Step 1. Install the extension

  1. In Chrome on your computer, open Dostup.io — Russian IP in the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Click Add to Chrome, then confirm with Add extension.
  3. Open Chrome's Extensions menu next to the address bar and select Dostup.io. You can pin it to the toolbar for easy access.

Step 2. Sign in

  1. In the extension, click Sign in. Dostup.io opens in a Chrome tab.
  2. Sign in using the email address for your Dostup.io account. Open the sign-in link from your email in the same Chrome browser profile.
  3. Return to the extension and check that it shows the correct account email.

Step 3. Connect

  1. Click Connect and wait for Connected.
  2. Open the website you need in Chrome.
  3. To disconnect, open the extension and click Disconnect.

The extension changes the connection used by Chrome. For other applications on your computer, use the device connection guide.

If it does not connect

The extension still asks you to sign in
Open the email sign-in link in the same Chrome profile where the extension is installed, then reopen the extension.
Another extension blocks the connection
Open chrome://extensions, turn off other VPN or proxy extensions, and try Connect again.
Dostup.io VPN is detected
Disconnect the system VPN before connecting through the Chrome extension.
You have reached the device limit
Disconnect an unused device or review your connections in the dashboard.
