Connect Dostup.io in Windows
Step-by-step instructions for setting up the built-in IKEv2 connection on Windows for access to Russian online resources. No additional software is required.
What you need
Open your dashboard and have the server address, username, and password ready. These instructions apply to currently serviced Windows 10 and Windows 11 versions.
Add the connection
- Open Settings → Network & Internet → VPN.
- Select Add VPN in Windows 11 or Add a VPN connection in Windows 10.
- For the provider, select Windows (built-in).
Enter the fields

| User name | Username from the dashboard |
| Password | Password from the dashboard |
Save sign-in information only on a private device. On a shared computer, leave the username and password fields empty and enter them when connecting.
Connect
- Select Save.
- Select Dostup.io in the list and click Connect.
- If Windows asks for account details, enter the username and password from the dashboard.
- Wait for the status to change to Connected.
If it does not connect
- The username or password is rejected
- Remove the saved values and copy them from the dashboard again, preserving capitalization.
- A certificate or server verification error appears
- Check the server address and turn on automatic date and time in Windows.
- The settings cannot be changed
- An organization may manage network settings on a work or school computer.
