Connect Dostup.io on iPhone and iPad

Step-by-step instructions for setting up the built-in IKEv2 connection on iOS and iPadOS for access to Russian online resources.

What you need

Open Connection settings in your dashboard. You will need the values of the Server Address, Login and Password fields.

Add the connection

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to General → VPN & Device Management → VPN.
  3. Tap Add VPN Configuration….
  4. Select IKEv2 at the top of the screen.

Enter the fields

Copy the server address, login and password from Connection settings. To reveal the password, click the eye icon beside the Password field. Preserve capitalization and do not add spaces at the beginning or end of a value.

Connect

  1. Tap Done to save the configuration.
  2. Select Dostup.io in the connection list and turn on the Status switch.
  3. Wait for the status to change to Connected. The system VPN indicator may appear in the status bar.

If it does not connect

The username or password prompt returns
Copy both values from Connection settings in your dashboard again. Check their capitalization and remove spaces at the beginning or end.
The status immediately returns to Not Connected
Check the server address and make sure the device sets its date and time automatically.
VPN settings are unavailable
On an iPhone or iPad supplied by your workplace or school, the organization may manage network settings. Contact its IT support for help.
